- Hardware: Motherboard, BIOS, CPU, Chipset, PCI / AGP, USB and ISA / PnP devices, memory, video card, hard drives, monitor, CD / DVD, SCSI devices, ports, printer etc.
- Network: Network cards, shared networks, active network connections, open ports, volume of data transmitted, etc.
SIW includes other tools: Eureka that serves to obtain passwords to access certain applications, which are replaced by asterisks, and in case of not remembering them can be revealed through this tool. Another tool available in this application allows to program the power on and off of the PC, according to rules easy to configure.

An important feature is that this program is portable, so it can be executed without having to install it, and do it directly from a USB stick, or from any device.
SIW 2011 (Build 1029) is the latest version (updated December 2011) of this product, which is available for Windows 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Windows 2003 Server R2, Windows Server 2003 x64, Windows XP x64, Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 x64.
This version is free, but there is a Pro version whose main difference is that it offers more output formats in reports, supporting CSV (to open with Excel), HTML, XML, or TXT; While this free version only allows to obtain reports in HTML format with the results obtained after testing both software and hardware installed on the computer.
