TweakNow PowerPack is a program that contains a set of utilities to maintain and optimize the system.
PowerPack has a tool that manages the RAM, releasing part of the one consumed by some application when it considers it convenient.
It has an auto-shutdown tool that allows you to program when the PC should be shut down, suspended or put into hibernation mode.
The application also allows you to clean your hard drive from unnecessary files such as temporary browsing, cookies, installation files and other items that can be removed to gain space and to speed up the proper operation of Windows.
PowerPack cleans the Windows registry, eliminating unnecessary entries from already uninstalled programs, and optimizes it through a defragmentation process applied to it.
It has a utility that reports system information on most hardware components such as processor, motherboard, memory, hard drive, video card, etc.
It allows to create a bootable CD to boot in case of a problem in the system. It is always useful to have a safe boot alternative in case of an emergency caused by a hardware failure or by the action of a virus. It also has a tool to manage system startup to control which applications should run when loading Windows, and to eliminate those unnecessary applications that only consume memory and slow down the boot.
TweakNow Powerpack 4.3.1 is the latest version, updated in October 2013, of this complete maintenance software. It has support for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, including the 32 and 63 bit editions of these operating systems. Unfortunately it is no longer free and you must acquire a license to continue updating it.
