AbelCam is a program that allows to use the PC as a web server to transmit streaming using the webcam, and to be able to access from any browser remotely (for example from a mobile phone) to see live what is transmitted.
It can be configured to send captures from time to time or when motion is detected, or video can be recorded and uploaded to an FTP server, or some file storage space such as Dropbox, or saved on the same PC (if the target is Use this software to monitor a trade or home, it would be advisable to send the captured images to a remote server).
In addition to being able to access what the webcam shows, AbelCam also allows you to transmit streaming captured by a TV tuner card or other devices such as IP cameras.

AbelCam 4.4 is the latest version, updated in June 2014, which can be downloaded for free. In order to use the software without limitations it is necessary to request a free license, as explained in the following tutorial. There is a Pro version that supports several simultaneous webcams.
It works with Windows 8, 7 and Vista (32 bit and 64 bit), being available in Spanish.
