Google, when it comes to trying to make life a little more comfortable or to investigate curious features, never wastes time. The immense amount of resources that the American company has allows them to investigate several things at once, from something revolutionary like Tango to simpler things like new options for Google Play or Gmail.
And it's your veteran email application that gets the attention of Google, because they have managed to give and receive money in a very simple way. Unfortunately, not everything is as nice as we would like, because at the moment only US residents can access this feature.
Those of Mountain View have implemented this feature in the Android application of Gmail the possibility of transferring money, something they could already do from their website, while you are writing an email. Just give the clip icon at the top and select the send money option.
The method used to send money is Google Wallet and, as we said, is currently only available in the United States, although if we are optimistic we can wait for this feature to spread to the whole world (although how to take the pace of Google Assistant ...). Would you like to be able to use Gmail to send money to someone else?
